Advent means: He is coming, and He has come. This also explains my everyday reality of the not-yet-but-already.

It sounds beautiful, but the tension of being a Christian during these times of not-yet-but-already has begun to show wear in my heart.

I wrote this email series to help you, and me, name that -- the wear in your heart, the threads that are showing, the evidence of overuse and over-burden -- and then bring what you’ve named to God.
